ITINERARY

On arrival at Guwahati airport, meet and greet with our representative then visit Kamakhya Temple and directly transfer to Nameri/Bhalukpong (around 5 hours, only possible if you arrive in the first half) via Bhumuraguri bridge (3,015 meters long) on the Brahmaputra river. Overnight at eco camps at Nameri (bamboo huts) or bhalukpong guest house.
Nameri National Park: Nameri lies at the border of Assam-Arunachal Pradesh, ornamented with rich biodiversity and Jia Bharali river allowing you to spend a night at Bamboo cottages and optional white water rafting cum birding tour (grade 1). There you can also opt for a nature's guided walk for birding and visit the pygmy hog centre.

GUWAHATI TO NAMERI /BHALUKPONG

After breakfast, an optional morning rafting tour and drive to Dirang (around 5-6 hrs). Arrive at Dirang and visit the Dirang Dzong and Sangti Valley. If time permits, explore Sangti Valley. Overnight at Dirang Hotel/homestay/Sangti Valley luxury camps.
Sangti Valley: At around 7 KM from Dirang town, this valley is inhabited by the Mahayana Buddhist Monpa tribe. The main attractions are the unmatched hospitality of the friendly Monpas, rivers, migratory birds, kiwi and apple orchards and mountain villages. A guided tour can allow you to experience the valley like a local.

NAMERI / BHALUKPONG TO DIRANG

After early breakfast, you can go for a village walk or a short hike to a farm for around 2 hours). Later, proceed to Tawang (around 5-6 hours) via Sela Pass, Sela Lake at an altitude of 13476 ft. Also, visit Jaswantgarh War Memorial and visit the Nuranong waterfall famous as Jung waterfall before reaching Tawang. Evening leisure or exploring the local market and restaurants
Overnight at Tawang Hotel/guesthouse.

DIRANG TO TAWANG

After breakfast, an excursion to Bumla Pass & Sangetsar Lake, also popular as Madhuri Lake and back to Tawang Hotel.
Note: Outside vehicles are not allowed for this excursion. Therefore, a local vehicle (Sumo/Bolero/Xylo) is included i.e. Rs.5500-6500) with permits. Also, this excursion is subject to the permission given by the local administration and the Indian army.
